Estate & Gift
I am happy to report that Cindy Evans of the Estate Tax Section of the
Department of Revenue has agreed to attend a meeting of the Estate and Gift
Committee on Thursday, January 5, to discuss the proposed amendments to the
pre May-17 regulations and the new post May 16 estate and transfer tax
regulations. A public hearing on the proposed rules will be held January 10
before the Department of Revenue. I hope you will be able to intend this
meeting.
